Having good reading skills is essential to lifelong learning, but too often our students find it challenging and boring. This project gives my students the opportunity to learn to love books of their own choosing and having the freedom to lounge in a safe and cozy environment so that reading becomes a want, not just a need in their learning endeavors! These furnishings will provide additional seating options different from traditional chair or floor, making our space more inviting. Knowing my students, they will love coming to the library to read a book based on their ability level and interest, and not something curriculum assigned. Students will WANT to read in​ an engaging environment.
