Lost all our dishes in the 7.1 earthquake one year ago? Yes! Many Alaskans did as well as homes and stability! The two pottery wheels and bats will replace 35 year old wheels that aren’t repairable allowing Robert Service High School students to continue to learn to throw on the wheel and replace all those broken bowls, cups, and plates. Your donation will bring joy and pride to our students as they accomplish a challenging task of creating art on the pottery wheel! We will be creating, collaborating, and recentering ourselves through art therapy in clay. Eventually, we will be able to support our local food bank, Bean’sCafe, by donating to the Empty Bowls project each year! Thank you for your support of the arts! -Robert Service High School Students & Teachers
