Children need room to move! I have 25-28 children per class period in my fifth grade classroom. We have large tables that take up almost all of our space. I also have half of my class always facing backward. We frequently take "brain breaks" in our class. We get up and move around. We love to wiggle and dance. We also do group projects where we spread out on the floor. Having more space in our room will make this so much easier! I am asking for donations to purchase narrow (18") tables so that my entire class can face forward and so that we can fold them up when we want to move around!
