Research shows that when kids use sensory play, they make connections in the brain that help them with more complex learning tasks, problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills, language development, and is great for calming a child, which we are seeing a greater need. The headphones will calm those kids that are overstimulated in a 1st and 2nd-grade environment and help children easily distracted to focus. I want my kids to make a connection to the world around them and find their place in it. The interactive globe and puzzle will help my children learn about the world around them and see how they are both different and most importantly, alike. Learning to tie a shoe is a struggle for many young ones. Learning to tie their shoe will help my littles to build those fine motor skills needed not only for that but for writing and using scissors. My kids love to play with scales. The Education Student Math Balance not only allows exploration with balance but pulls in basic addition and subtraction. My kids would love to learn about measurement as they play the Jax How Tall Am I Game. Using Multi-Color, Wooden Tangrams Pattern Blocks Set allows for play as the children learn about Geometric Shapes. Finally, Light frames will allow for exploration as the children use Constructive Playthings Translucent Pattern Blocks and Magna tiles to create pictures, explore color, and more.
