The cubbies are spacious enough where the students' belongings will fit nicely, keep them organized and keep backpacks, lunch boxes and coats off the floor. There would be enough cubbies for my students in the classroom to have their own. New cubbies in the classroom will help promote organization and independence. The cubbies are large enough for my first graders to be able to hang up their own backpacks and jackets without trying to find a place around the room to keep them out of the way. Each cubbie will be label with students names which will make the students' arrival and dismissal a breeze.
