These flex couches will not only allow my 4th graders to have flexible seating options throughout our instructional day, but also help meet their unique learning needs. Many times students loose focus due to being seated or confined to the same space for several hours. They may sometimes become easily distracted, therefore disengaging in lessons. I believe that flexible seating options will give my students a safe and comfortable space where learning will continue. They will have the ability to improve their focus, engage in cooperative learning with peers, as well as a change of pace, rather than be seated in a hard chair all day long. I truly believe that students should feel comfortable in their learning environment and have options in the classroom of where to complete academic tasks.
