The overwhelming number of students with learning disabilities as well as ADD and ADHD can be slightly curbed by having a more flexible seating option within the classroom. Having more options wouldn't only help my students but would also help with fitting more space in my classroom. I would like to try to reach the students in my room by showing them I believe in their choices and giving them the power to choose more things in their school day. My classroom is very small so trying to use more "traditional" seating doesn't always work in a useful way. Having a flexible classroom could boost the morale and show students they can learn in more ways than just sitting in a classroom with only chairs and desks.
