With these book in our class library, my students will become more excited about reading. We do not have many books in our library that are in Spanish. The school library has a limited amount of books in Spanish. Having their favorite book series in their target language will help grow that love for reading that they thrive for. Most of my students are English Language Learners, with Spanish as their first language. We are also in a dual immersion program where 60% of our day is in Spanish. These books will be cared for and loved by all in the classroom. Our read-aloud time and independent reading time will be one of their favorite times of the day. They already love to read, and having these books will grow their interest in books and reading in more than one language.
