Reminisce, your back in the fifth grade with a classroom full of your favorite literature books. You were so curious and eager to read all of them and to be able to explore the world. Remember that feeling of excitement? I would love for you to give my students the opportunity to feel that thrill that literature has the magic of giving. My students are in need of a classroom library. We have limited resources in our classroom at the moment, making it difficult to be able to teach the skills and strategies that come along with being a reader. I would love to incorporate guided reading, book clubs and rotational reading into my literature lessons. The print-rich literacy books that are on our "Wish list" will help create our cozy WONDERful library that I would love to start building. My dream as a 5th grade teacher is to be able to give my students the opportunity to travel the world of literature just by reading in our classroom. Our classroom library was designed to have each one of my students feel cozy while they read independently with a cozy carpet and pillow to let their imagination run wild. The only material that is missing from our WONDERful classroom library is our MAGICAL books that will help SPARK my students interest even more. That is where you can help make a difference and give my students that WONDERful ADVENTURE they are waiting for.
