Without a full playground or gymnasium, our scholars are limited on the movements they can explore. When scholars are allowed the opportunity to challenge their vestibular (balance) system, their brains are able to grow new neural pathways that allow for better processing of information in and out of the classroom. The Brain Maze Movement Lab will give the scholars a chance to use both sides of the body, cross the midline, and develop a greater awareness of their body in time and space. As they gain a greater sense of their bodies, they will be better equipped to learn and grow in the classroom. The lab will be utilized TK-7th grade.
