I am a speech teacher conducting therapy with children who have special needs. Many of my pre-k students this upcoming school year may be receiving speech therapy remotely, while others will receive service in-person. This past spring, when the entire world went remote, I learned just how much children are motivated by technology/animation in conjunction with appropriate core/communication boards. I would like to purchase items that will allow me to share my activities virtually, as well as, have the ability to send parents laminated core boards, activities that can be used within the classroom and/or home consistently. This allows for carryover from therapy sessions. My students may be little but they have big thoughts and ideas they want to share. I believe that with the appropriate visuals we are assisting our children in giving them a voice through these materials.
