So many concepts that my biology and chem students need to learn are abstract and microscopic. This can be super challenging! All of the kits in my project, including food nutrient analysis and modeling DNA to protein, will introduce hard to understand concepts in a way that is engaging and fun. Several of these kits actually allow students to investigate real-life problems, such as sickle cell anemia. They will have the opportunity to build models and test nutrients, too! It is so important for my students to have as many opportunities as possible to engage in real science that can help them better understand the world around them.
