The headphones will allow students to listen and view teaching videos based on individual needs. Additionally, students will be able to engage in learning games for practice and reinforcement. The listening center will be used for students to hear fluent reading and to record themselves reading. Both provide for differentiation and opportunities to meet students’ unique learning styles and needs. Teaching is challenging because teachers are faced with finding ways to reach all students. For example, if teaching a lesson on nouns, there are teaching videos students may view for the purpose of reinforcement and mastery of learning. Each child has access to a Chromebook which allows for individualization.
