By providing my students with standing desks my students will be able to collaborate with their peers easily. They will be able to move as needed as they work together solving math problems. These desks will inspire students and provide an engaging environment in which they can be successful. Learning is more than just sitting at a desk. Learning should be provided in as many ways as possible. I often tell my students, "We do not learn from our bottoms". There is no golden rule that a child learns best being in a chair. Students need to have their individual learning style met in order to be successful.
