Students need art supplies to be successful in my virtual online art classroom. With at home learning currently taking place, we are facing a barrier of physically creating artwork at home due to a lack of supplies. The art kits I have put together will help all of my students be successful at home in completing each of their projects. The donations to this project will help create an equitable classroom environment that promotes hands-on learning. Art is essential during a time such as this, as it provides an outlet and a place to create and explore. Students need time away from their devices to play with new art materials and further develop their skills. In every kit a student will receive a sketchbook, a watercolor set, graphite pencils, erasers, scissors, glue, colored pencils, crayons, a ruler, a permanent marker, origami paper, watercolor paper, and other assorted papers for creating art. We will use these supplies to complete all of our virtual projects at home, as well as in person when we return to school.
