The Black and Decker Portable Air Conditioner will provide a welcome relief to students who walk to school each day. It will provide them with a comfortable space to learn and interact with their peers. We are one of just a few classrooms that do not have air conditioning in our room. There is not much of a cross breeze and always feels 15 degrees hotter than it is outside. When students are too hot, they are more likely to lose focus, be irritable, and fall behind. Please help us be able to have cool air flowing in our classroom.
