Because of COVID, we are once again teaching remotely. During Zoom on my laptop, I am learning that my kids can't always hear me well. If I turn my head away from the speaker, there is an issue. The sound does not always pick me up well from all directions. I have also found that I am stuck in front of my computer. If I try to show a problem on the board, I have to unplug my computer and take it with me. The Apple Airpods will be able to connect to my laptop through Bluetooth and allow me to talk freely while looking in different directions and move around my home classroom or classroom. This will help me as I monitor my classroom virtually and in person. We were supposed to be back to hybrid in the middle of January. Having Bluetooth earbuds would allow my students to hear me and allow me to move around my classroom without being stuck right next to my computer!
