My students will use this technology to build their portfolios into the 3D art field. They will learn to connect technology and 3D design in my classroom. We will build and design our 3D projects on the computer and add other elements of 3D art to the pieces they print. Students will take technology and their creativity and blend them into 3D art projects. This will not only push their understanding of the elements and principles of art but also add technology exploration into their work. Students will develop 3D printed projects and add hand built 3D materials using various materials like plaster, cardboard and wire.
