The cart with rulers, scissors, and presentation markers will allow for students to work in their groups to display their learning. These materials will enable the students to collaborate in a group, decide on a strategy to discuss with the class, and display this information in an anchor chart to refer to later in the school year. The tape will go to good use for the display of learning occurring in class. My students have been working hard to learn how to own their learning and take responsibility for it. They are taking ownership of creating a learning environment that focuses on student leadership, student voice, and adding tools to their toolbox of education. These materials will allow my students to be advocates of their learning.
