Every day, I find my students wiggling around to get comfortable in their traditional desks and chairs. Providing students with a variety of options to choose from will give them the ability to focus more and allow student choice. Creating student choice at the first-grade​ level will better equip each and every one of them through their journey of learning at a young age. My students deserve flexible seating in order to focus and learn to the best of their abilities. Currently, I have a carpet and a small table with fun, comfortable chairs where the students can choose to sit during one of our four math rotation times. I find my students more engaged during this time because they are able to get comfortable and really focus on their learning. The products I have selected will give my students the variety and choice they deserve to take control of their learning. I can't wait to see how this will positively impact my students every single day!
