If my project is fully funded, I will get to present these amazing novels as a gift to my classroom library. I will get to share my love of reading with my 6th graders with some of the books that I spent hours devouring as an eleven-year-old myself. The love of reading is a gift that my students can carry with them through life and will make them life-long learners. My students will be able to check-out these novels to read during our Silent Sustained Reading time in which students are able to take a moment out of the day to just silently read with no strings attached (other than pure joy)!

About my class
