Our students have been learning about careers and post secondary options for a few years now and my plan is to continue to educate the students about their varied options after high school. The plan is to work with community members/parents and bring volunteers into the school during lunch time to speak to our students about their careers. The speakers would discuss how they became interested in their career, what education/training they needed, what they do in a typical day at their job, and any advice to students considering a job in their field. The products that I have chosen, tablecloths, pens, mason jars, a display board, adhesive letters, water bead gel, and pennant banners, will be used to create a more realistic style cafe' for our students. I would like to have tablecloths, centerpieces, and decorations to create an environment that is inviting and relaxing for both the students and the guest speakers.
