I am teaching Kindergarten in a room that has many old tattered and worn out pieces of furniture, rugs and equipment. When everything my students touch is already torn or falling apart, they feel like they are not as special. My hope is to get the classroom equipped with updated and current supplies. With your help I know that my students will feel like their classroom is comfortable, safe and a home away from home. With a new carpet as a focus project I hope to help my students feel more excited about creating friendships and a classroom community. Circle time is also a place where my students do a lot of learning and focusing.
