Students of Science enjoy the hands-on learning the best! What is better than going outside and observing bees pollinating in the garden? Or eating a carrot freshly dug up out of the dirt, and later enjoying carrot cake? The school garden offers many opportunities to learn life cycles and other concepts in a unique way. Our students absolutely LOVE the school garden. It tends to be the thing kids remember the most about their experiences at our school. Our school garden has provided hours of hands-on learning, exercise, healthy food, strong work ethic, and fun for hundreds of kids over the years. With our raised garden beds falling apart and rotting, we would love to replace the wood with galvanized steel raised beds. These will look great and last for many years to come, providing an outdoor classroom for hundreds of students. Our school greatly appreciates the help in funding this ambitious project!
