Having a designated area where we come together as a whole class and sit together is crucial in our daily activities. My students use our floor space to build community during our community circle time, it is a place for us to talk and share and listen to what others have to say. It is a place where we do our morning meetings, read our morning message, sing our good morning song and do calendar. It is a place where we gather to listen to stories. It is a place where we learn whole group instruction. It is a place where learning and opportunity and experiences happen. With having this carpet in our room, it would make this special area so much more comfy and longer lasting because there would be a place for everyone to sit and learn in the best possible way.
