Financial disadvantage leads to many problems. One that is of utmost importance to me is being able to provide my students with proper healthcare. Many of our students do not have a regular health care provider, regular health screenings, and only see a doctor for emergency visits. The school nurse is often the only healthcare professional they encounter. Therefore it is very important to have everything necessary to provide the best environment for the students. Reducing health disparities and supporting these students will help them thrive. This will allow them to be successful in school and later in life.

About my class
