Hoover is designated a Leader in Me Lighthouse School which means that every student at Hoover is a leader -- from Pre-K to fifth grade. Students are empowered to achieve academic, personal, and social success. Throughout the school day students are given leadership jobs within their classrooms as well as the building. Morning Meeting, assemblies, and announcements are all student led. Students also lead their own parent conferences and meetings to reflect on their learning, progress, celebrations, and contributions. We are proud of Hoover and each year our students plan a Leadership Day for visitors to come see our future leaders in action.
