When students choose to play in the percussion section, there is a lot that comes with that. They will learn drums, keyboards, and all of the fun accessories that come with it. Due to the amount of equipment involved in the percussion section, it is not feasible for students to own their own. Even a drum and a pair of sticks can be an expensive purchase for my students. With your help, we can put a pair of sticks and a practice pad into the hands of Jr High students who form the future of our program. With a funded project, each student will have a pair of adequate drum sticks (that actually match!) and a 6" practice pad to use outside of the band room.
