The heart of jazz is improvisation and the core element to effective improvisation is having a clear harmonic progressions provided by the bass. Students who can't hear the chord changes have a hard time soloing effectively. With this bass amp, my students will be able to lock into a groove as they freely express how they feel the music move in their lives. I have a strong and motivated bass player, but he often can't be heard. With this amp, he will be able to lock in with the drummer and provide a solid foundation for the entire ensemble to respond to.
