Social Emotional Learning is key in the growth of a child's life. These buttons, pens and pencils with inspirational sayings will aid in self-esteem, student and class engagement. It is my belief that students perform well when they feel well. Conversation Corner is my restorative approach to Detention. Restorative Practices promote conversation over consequence. It is my goal when students are sent to my office to reflect on their actions that they are handed a thought-provoking quote, pen, pencil, and/or journal to prompt them to start the change in their behavior. Reflections are essential to the growth process of children. Remember, students are counting on you to believe in them.
