Students are rewarded for displaying positive behaviors in our school. We understand that many of our students are hungry which causes misbehaving and crankiness. The snacks provided to promote positive behavior will help the success of our students. They really enjoy being rewarded with tangible items such as food. Many times my students misbehave because they are hungry. Students with special needs in a high school / post secondary setting have a difficult time communicating and expressing their needs. My positive behavioral reward system has promoted respect, responsibility and safety. We communicate daily in my classroom as well as throughout the school environment teaching the importance of the core values.
