My goal is to ensure my students are comfortable within the classroom which is an essential component in learning. Providing flexible seating for students allows them to take charge of their learning. During times when we are working on reading or writing projects, my kids have the option of sitting on the carpet in small groups, but sitting on the rug can be difficult when they need to lean over to write on clipboards. The surf lap desks I have selected will help my students not only by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices, but will also by allowing students the option to sit at a desk with the comfort of the rug. This will replace the need for clipboards while providing added comfort within the classroom. The surf lap desks are lightweight and can be easily used within many areas of the classroom.
