I am asking for art supplies, posters, math manipulatives, a lamp, and storage bins. These materials will help my students grasp literacy and early math skills as well as give me the ability to incorporate art time into our schedule without going broke. I also asked for bean bag chairs to use as comfortable furniture to encourage them to read ad enjoy being read to to up their print knowledge. While I have gotten some things, I simply cannot afford to give them everything I would hope they could use to practice learning skills while at school. The classroom has only been open for several weeks and I still need a lot of supplies in order to give my students the best classroom that I can. The lamp, in fact,is to better light my current classroom. My focus is making this a great school year full of fun, learning, and laughter!
