Manga, a Japanese style of comic books and graphic novels, is wildly popular genre in the world of adolescent literature. Over the past few years, my sixth grade students have expressed a desire for more Manga to be added to our classroom library. I would love to be able to provide my wonderful students with a wider selection of literature that interests them to foster their love of reading. Graphic novels, including Manga, develop and reinforce literacy skills for all students while also allowing students to engage with a shared interest within our classroom community. Any and all support is greatly appreciated by both my students and I!
