This carpet will provide my students will a comfortable area where they can put learning first. It will also serve as a way to cater to our classroom community as part of our meeting area where we come together as a class to share insights, problems, and success! We will gather on the carpet during community circle time and to have restorative circles when necessary. I will also use this carpet when I teach my students new concepts during whole group instruction. Students will discuss how they solve math problems, literature with peers, participate in brain breaks and listen to high quality text during read aloud time.
