Quality basketballs and better practice materials will improve the way girls learn. Having leftover equipment; old, borrowed, hand-me-down equipment does not put me in a position to change their thinking about being from where they're from. But new basketball would help to motivate them to feel better about learning the game. Which would, in turn, assist in opening their minds to living a new life away from their adverse situations. We can teach them about the quality of life outside the environment you grow up living. And show them what life has to offer beyond their level of familiarity.
