Students with ADHA, autism, and other disabilities need focused learning sessions. They would benefit from these room dividers to break our classroom into small, learning spaces and to minimize distractions from the other groups. The drawer units would allow each student to have their supplies for intervention groups, including sensory materials such as the rubbing plates (to add to the materials already in use in our room) for short breaks during instruction. By donating to this project, you will help create a student-centered learning environment that will support the academic and behavioral needs of my students. Having individual student materials close at hand allow the instructors to quickly reward students for positive choices as well as providing sensory breaks to the students.
