Due to the pandemic my students are so eager to get into a more hands on art experience especially since working mostly virtually. This year I wanted to support my students by providing them with sketchbooks. Sketchbooks are a major part of my our art studio experience as my students are being taught to think like artists, designers, and engineers. The sketchbook will be a tool for them to put down their ideas, solve problems, and even journal or free draw on days they aren't feeling their best. Also with the pandemic, the need for flexibility is so important and for students who may need to quarantine or work from home permanently these sketchbooks guarantees they have the materials to still participate. Lastly the sketchbook, really can show students their growth from the beginning to the end of the school year and I am excited to share this tool with them.
