With the addition of a camera, computer and printer in my art classroom, I will be able to introduce my students to the joy and beauty of photography. They will be able to learn photography skills and implement them into making their own artwork. After they learn the basics and start making their prints, they can then use the prints to make other pieces of art. They can learn about digital media and create all kinds of new productions. I would like to introduce the students to a method of art that they may not otherwise have access to. My students are from a rural area and don't have access to a lot of things other students may have. They can use this outlet as a form of self expression. Digital art is a new area that could open their eyes to careers and hobbies they may never have thought of before.
