Thank You Donors! I have been teaching for a few years, but whenever you are setting up a new program or new classroom it can feel like you are starting from scratch In this case, I was not taking over for another teacher and there were no materials left behind to build the classroom with. I had the amazing support of my district, my administration, my fellow teachers, and especially my family and we were able to put together a fantastic atmosphere for the class but there are still a few resources and materials that we were unable to afford, find, beg, borrow, or steal and that is why I am turning to you. This is a new Language-Based Self-Contained (special education) classroom. I am also brand new to the Wappingers Central School District.
