Unfortunately, many of my students come from economically disadvantaged households. In all my years of teaching, I have witnessed how this can directly impact the ability for students to reach their full academic potential. It is difficult to make requests outside of the classroom knowing that some have so little. It is equally as difficult to think that the learning opportunities within the classroom may not be experienced equally by every student. So far, almost every student, past and present, have managed to push limits aside and achieve academic success. It is my wish to make this journey a little easier and more enjoyable for all my students.
