Many of my students struggle to sit and be focused in the classroom. They have excess energy and a need for movement. Rather than having that desire become a disruption to the learning environment, I hope to outfit each student's chair with a Bouncy Band. That simple addition into my classroom will allow students to fidget while being seated and will help them turn their attention to the lesson at hand. My class is full of projects, unique lessons, and guest presenters. I do not want students to miss out on lessons that prepare them for future success just because their bodies can't sit and focus. Help me help my students fidget into successful futures!
