Students need access to technology in order to achieve and there is none available to them. It’s heartbreaking. I am working with overcrowded, third grade classrooms with up to thirty students in each class. The computer is necessary for them to access reading programs and to complete activities that need to be copied, another piece of equipment lacking in my building. The students need access to electronic books through the laptop. This year is the first year these students will be taking state exams and need to play catch up. This laptop and printer will also assist the teachers I work with to help their students achieve.
