These materials will help make a difference in my students learning by giving them the ability to sit on a comfy rug and practice our mindfulness meditation. The books will assist in the lessons we will need to learn about such as , kindness, sharing and respect, which in turn will create a positive social and emotional learning outcome that will lead to increased academic achievement and improved behavior. All of these materials will help make a welcoming SELC room for students who may be having a difficult day and need a warm and welcoming space to come to and visit.
