I want my computers to be more than just a word processing lab. Students need more authentic learning experiences and in our media enriched world, students should be creating video and audio in addition to text. I would like students in my classroom to use their voice to address their passions and to make a positive impact on the world. We can do this through any number of ways, but I would like to incorporate more podcasting and video projects to give students more real world experiences. These headsets would transform the possibilities in my classroom computer lab from just typing to more engaging, enriching experiences.
