For my classroom, simply having books in my class, even just for independent reading time and to take home every night to read for fun and for reading logs, will greatly improve my classroom and allow my students to grow and develop as readers. This will help especially my struggling students begin to catch up in reading and reading comprehension. Without books, it proves harder to help prepare them to move forward and advance to a better reading level ability. For my more ready readers, these books will give them chances to hone their skills and prepare for a new day.

About my class
