The items chosen will help me create a cool down room for our students when they need to escape the busy environment around them. I am hoping this will allow them the time to cool down and be ready to go back into the classroom ready to work and be focused on what they need to be rather than stressed about what is bothering them. Some the items will be in my office as a tool to help them relax and feel more comfortable to open up about their troubles. Many times high school students are expected to be more adult like when in reality they need to fidget toys and sensory items as much as younger students.

About my class
