I began implementing flexible seating in my classroom last school year. The success of allowing students to choose their seating preferences was evident in the classroom atmosphere, as well as in their learning. Currently my students are able to choose from seating options such as a futon couch, futon chairs, or tables. Because I have ten more students this year than last year, I am seeking additional learning space.
My students love the current atmosphere of choice with a more mature decor for their learning.
The products that I have selected will provide my new students seating options like their peers. The drop leaf tables will extend them the option of creating more room for their materials, but also allows me the option to drop the leaf when the tables are not in use to maximize classroom space. The lap tables are to be used for those who choose the futon couch and/or the futon chair.
I am looking forward to sharing with my students their new seating options and am confident their learning will continue to be enhanced through choice.
