This chrome book will give my lower income ELL's exciting opportunities to practice phonic's based skills on educational apps like Lexia, to learn computer navigation skills for future education, or to augment their curriculum by researching special topics like fascinating facts about space. So many of these students do not have this access at home. By sharing images of Folklorico Dancers, the Italian Alps, or the people of Eritrea, we are sharing glimpses into our cultures and ourselves with one another. With English Language Learners, "a picture if worth a thousand words."This Chromebook will help my students have a window into the world.
