This will be our third year implementing PBIS strategies. These are strategies we use to emphasize positive behaviors instead of focusing on the negative ones. We understand how difficult it can be to wake up and be ready for class at 7:25 am each and every day. This year we are focused on increasing attendance through rewards and incentives. Some students will come to school every day just because it has become a habit. However, some students need an extra little bonus prize to help get them going in the morning. By offering these blue-tooth items and portable chargers we hope to reward students who have perfect attendance. Through our snacks, we will reward students who have improved attendance records or shown up all week on time to first hour. These are little things we can do that will impact student learning and our overall school performance.
